Al Yasat Petroleum Operations Company is developing the Belbazem offshore block, which is situated 120 km northwest of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
Greenfield facilities for water injection, gas compression, generated water treatment, and related utilities will also be built as part of the Belbazem plan.
Belbazem is projected to have a production capability of 45,000 barrels per day (BPD) of light oil with API gravity of about 35 and 27 million standard cubic feet per day (MMscfd) of associated gas.
Three marginal oil fields—Belbazem, Umm Al Salsal, and Umm Al Dholou make up the Belbazem block.
The development of the Belbazem offshore block is a part of ADNOC's efforts to boost oil production capacity from four million barrels per day.
The Belbazem block's formations contain Berriasian-era shallow-marine deposition.
Each field will develop an offshore wellhead tower that will be linked to the Zirku Island terminal in the Persian Gulf.
